Country house for 10 people

The holiday home 'La Châtaigneraie' is a spacious and comfortable country house of 260 m2, near Jumilhac le Grand in the Périgord Limousin Regional Natural Park and located on an estate with a private lake.
On the ground floor you will find the cozy living/dining room with fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher. There are two spacious bedrooms with double beds and private bathrooms/shower on the ground floor. The seating area has a fireplace for extra atmosphere, with plenty of split wood from our own forest. In addition, there is a modern wood-burning soapstone stove and an electric heat pump for colder days.
Upstairs, there is a third bedroom for two adults and two small children, with its own bathroom and toilet. The floor also has a mezzanine with a library and hobby room.

In the entire house, fast WiFi internet is available via a satellite connection. There is a projector with a projection screen in the library (Bluetooth connection). TVs with satellite connection are available in the living room and the second bedroom. A washing machine is available for a small fee.
At the front, there is a sunny south-facing terrace overlooking the garden, the chestnut orchard, and the estate. The kitchen has a covered terrace facing west with a beautiful view of the sunset. Sufficient parking for two cars is available at the house.
The ground floor is also accessible for wheelchair users. A well-maintained walking path to the lake is provided. Dogs are welcome (see also the house rules).
